The curriculum used at Firm Foundation in third grade is the A Beka curriculum. It is a curriculum based on the Scriptures, one that has a Christian approach to education and life woven throughout. Each day there is time set aside for the teaching of the Bible. Not only is Bible taught daily but it is also integrated into the entire curriculum. Well-selected literature helps students grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. It points the students to Christ, the wonderful world of creation, to Christian principles, and the study of human nature. In addition students have PE and music two times each week, as well as library and computers once each week.
